Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg had a memorable introduction to professional basketball in a matchup against Lakers superstar Luka Doncic.
After defending Doncic in his debut, Lendeborg described the game as an “interesting first game for me.” He also said he “lost all respect” for Doncic following the testy matchup.
The comments came after Lendeborg’s first professional appearance, which included direct defensive assignments against one of the league’s top stars.
