The Knicks picked up their first win of the season with a 111-97 victory over the Pistons, ending a three-game losing streak to start the campaign.
New York handled an opponent that had given it trouble in recent matchups and closed out the win by a 14-point margin.
Jalen Brunson referenced the World Series approach after the game, saying the Knicks needed to “just continue to hit singles” as they worked their way out of the early-season slide.
