UCLA fired athletic director Martin Jarmond on Monday, with university leadership pointing to financial challenges facing the Bruins’ athletic department.
In a letter to the UCLA community, chancellor Julio Frenk said the athletic program “currently carries a significant financial deficit” and added that “its current path is not sustainable.”
