Luis, the 2025 Big East Player of the Year, had faced eligibility questions tied to those NBA agreements. The court ruling allows him to join LSU on the floor while the matter proceeds under the terms of the injunction.
The decision gives LSU access to one of the most accomplished players in college basketball from last season. Luis earned Big East Player of the Year honors in 2025, adding a high-profile name to the Tigers’ roster for the upcoming campaign.
