Rashon Burno will not return as Northern Illinois’ men’s basketball coach next season, the university announced, ending his five-season run leading the Huskies.
In a statement, Burno said, “I have decided to step away to explore other opportunities.”
Five seasons in charge
Burno, a former DePaul guard, completed five seasons at the helm of the Northern Illinois program. The school’s announcement confirms a change in leadership ahead of next season.
