Toronto Raptors guard Immanuel Quickley aggravated his strained right hamstring while working his way back from the injury and will not be available for the club’s first-round playoff series against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team said Friday.

The setback removes Quickley from Toronto’s options for the entire opening-round matchup as the Raptors prepare to face Cleveland in the postseason.

Injury update

Quickley had been rehabbing the right hamstring strain and suffered the aggravation during his recovery process. Toronto did not provide additional details beyond confirming he will be unavailable for the series.

Toronto opens its first-round series against Cleveland without the guard, who had been attempting to return in time for the matchup.
