The April 25 basketball slate delivered volume and separation: 15 games across the NBA, ACB, SLB, NBA W and Prvenstvo BiH, with several road teams turning difficult environments into decisive wins.

The NBA headliners came fast. The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Houston Rockets 112-108, Oklahoma City Thunder took down the Phoenix Suns 121-109, and the New York Knicks handled the Atlanta Hawks 114-98. In Spain, Real Madrid went to Valencia and won 96-82, while Unicaja and Gran Canaria both cleared 90 points in home victories.

NBA: Lakers survive Houston, Thunder control Phoenix

The Lakers’ 112-108 win over the Rockets was the tightest NBA result of the night and the kind of road finish that matters in late-season context. Houston kept the margin within one possession range deep into the final scoreline, but Los Angeles had enough shot-making and control to leave with a four-point win.

Oklahoma City created more breathing room in Phoenix, beating the Suns 121-109. The Thunder’s 121 points marked the highest NBA total on the slate, and the 12-point road margin reflected a game in which Oklahoma City dictated enough of the tempo to keep Phoenix chasing.

New York produced one of the cleaner NBA road wins, defeating Atlanta 114-98. The Knicks held the Hawks under 100 while winning by 16, a combination that points to control on both ends without requiring a narrow-game finish.

Orlando protected home court with a 113-105 win over Detroit. The Magic reached 113 and held off a Pistons side that stayed competitive but could not close the gap. San Antonio also claimed a road win, beating Portland 120-108 behind one of the night’s strongest offensive outputs.

ACB: Real Madrid wins at Valencia, Unicaja rolls

Real Madrid’s 96-82 victory at Valencia stood out as the ACB result with the most immediate weight. Winning away by 14 against a major domestic opponent requires sustained execution, and Madrid’s 96-point total gave Valencia little room for error.

Unicaja delivered the most lopsided ACB win of the slate, beating Forca Lleida 91-72. The 19-point margin was built on defensive separation as much as scoring volume, with Forca Lleida held to 72.

Gran Canaria also handled business at home, defeating Basquet Girona 100-90. Reaching triple digits gave Gran Canaria the highest ACB score of the night, while Murcia edged Tenerife 86-80 in a tighter, lower-margin result.

NBA W: Fever stun Liberty, Mercury win shootout

Indiana Fever W produced the biggest NBA W road result, beating New York Liberty W 109-91. The 18-point margin was emphatic, and the 109-point total was the highest score across the women’s games on the slate.

Phoenix Mercury W won the night’s highest-scoring NBA W matchup, outlasting Chicago Sky W 108-104. With both teams clearing 100, the game played as a shot-trading contest that ultimately tilted to Phoenix at home.

Minnesota Lynx W earned a more controlled road win, beating Washington Mystics W 77-66. The Lynx held Washington to the lowest score among the NBA W games listed, creating separation through defense rather than pace.

Across Europe: London Lions dominate, Bosnia slate stays tight

In the SLB, London Lions delivered one of the night’s most decisive road performances, beating Surrey 89ers 86-62. The 24-point margin was the largest listed on the slate, driven by a defensive effort that kept Surrey to 62.

In Prvenstvo BiH, Borac Banja Luka won at Jahorina 84-72, while Siroki Brijeg edged Sloboda 74-71. Siroki Brijeg’s three-point win was one of the tightest results of the night, contrasting sharply with the broader slate’s run of double-digit road victories.
