Restricted free agent Quinten Post has signed a three-year, $30 million contract offer sheet with the Memphis Grizzlies, putting the Golden State Warriors on the clock to decide whether to retain the third-year center.
Golden State has until 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday to match the offer sheet. If the Warriors decline to match, Post will join Memphis under the terms of the three-year agreement.
Warriors Face Deadline on Post Decision
As a restricted free agent, Post can sign an offer sheet with another team, but his current team holds the right to match the contract and keep him. That gives the Warriors a limited window to determine whether they will commit to the $30 million deal or allow him to move to the Grizzlies.
The offer sheet adds a notable roster decision for Golden State as it evaluates its frontcourt depth. For Memphis, the agreement represents a move to add size at center, pending the Warriors’ final decision before Tuesday night’s deadline.
