The Knicks delivered the night’s cleanest statement, going into Cleveland and beating the Cavaliers 121-108 in the lone NBA matchup on Sunday’s 10-game slate.
That result sat at the center of a wide-ranging schedule that also featured four WNBA games, four ACB contests and a Euroleague win for Olympiacos over Real Madrid. Road teams made plenty of noise, but the night was not defined by one trend as much as by separation: several winners created enough scoring margin to remove late possession chaos from the equation.
NBA: Knicks handle Cavaliers on the road
New York beat Cleveland 121-108, producing the highest NBA total of the day and one of the most notable road results on the board. The Knicks’ 121 points stood out in a game that demanded sustained offensive efficiency away from home.
For Cleveland, allowing 121 at home created a difficult margin to chase. The Cavaliers reached 108, but the Knicks’ offensive pace and shot-making profile gave them control across the final scoreline.
WNBA: Sparks edge Aces; Dream survive Mercury
Los Angeles opened the WNBA portion of the slate with a 101-95 road win over Las Vegas. The Sparks crossed the 100-point mark against the Aces, a threshold that usually reflects both tempo and consistent half-court execution.
Atlanta produced the closest WNBA result of the day, beating Phoenix 82-80. In a two-point game, the Dream’s margin left little room for slippage, but they held enough ground to finish the night on the right side of a possession game.
Dallas also claimed a notable road win, beating New York 91-76. The Wings’ 15-point margin was the largest WNBA separation of the slate, built on a defensive result that kept the Liberty below 80.
Seattle closed its matchup with a 97-85 win over Washington. The Storm’s scoring output gave them a 12-point cushion and completed a WNBA set in which three of the four winners scored at least 91.
ACB: Andorra posts the day’s biggest margin
MoraBanc Andorra delivered the most lopsided result across all leagues, beating Forca Lleida 116-88. The 28-point road win was the standout ACB performance of the day and the highest scoring total on the full schedule.
Murcia also won away from home, topping Basket Zaragoza 100-90. Reaching triple digits on the road gave Murcia a clear offensive edge in a game where Zaragoza still generated enough scoring to keep pressure on the matchup.
Bilbao protected home court with an 86-80 win over Basquet Girona. The six-point margin marked one of the tighter ACB finishes, with Bilbao doing enough to control the final result without creating major separation.
Joventut Badalona also won at home, beating San Pablo Burgos 86-79. Like Bilbao, Joventut kept the score in a controlled range and finished with a seven-point cushion.
Euroleague: Olympiacos beats Real Madrid
Olympiacos closed the Euroleague entry on the slate with a 92-85 win over Real Madrid. The seven-point result gave Olympiacos a high-level home victory in a matchup defined by two teams reaching at least 85 points.
Real Madrid’s 85 kept the game competitive, but Olympiacos’ 92 provided the decisive separation. On a day filled with road wins, this was one of the marquee home-court stands.
