Louisville coach Pat Kelsey added another experienced piece to the Cardinals' roster Monday, bringing in fifth-year forward LJ Wells after his four-season run at Northern Kentucky.
Wells becomes the latest veteran addition for Louisville as Kelsey continues building out the program's roster. His arrival gives the Cardinals another upperclassman option in the frontcourt, adding college experience to a team undergoing roster changes under its head coach.
The move continues Louisville's offseason effort to add proven players with multiple years of Division I experience. Wells spent each of the last four seasons at Northern Kentucky before making the move to Louisville for his fifth year.
