Jonas Valanciunas has signed a two-year contract with Zalgiris Kaunas, the Lithuanian club announced Wednesday.
The agreement brings the veteran center to one of Lithuania’s most prominent basketball clubs and marks his move away from the NBA.
A return to Lithuanian basketball
Valanciunas’ deal with Zalgiris places him back in his home country’s basketball landscape, where the Kaunas-based club remains a leading name. The team confirmed the signing as a two-year agreement.
