Vanderbilt secured a major addition to its 2027 recruiting class Tuesday, landing a commitment from Gabe Nesmith, a top-20 rising senior.
Nesmith, who is the cousin of Indiana Pacers guard Aaron Nesmith, becomes the highest-ranked recruit of head coach Mark Byington’s career. His commitment represents a significant recruiting win for Vanderbilt as the program continues to build under Byington.
