Rockets coach Ime Udoka delivered a blunt assessment of his team after a late-game collapse against the Los Angeles Lakers pushed Houston into a 3-0 deficit in the series.
Udoka called out the Rockets for what he described as costly execution errors down the stretch.
Udoka: “Horrendous mistakes”
“Horrendous mistakes,” Udoka said after the loss. “I don't know if you want to say youth or scared of the moment, or whatever the case.”
Udoka added a pointed message for his group: “Grow up.”
The defeat left the Rockets facing a steep uphill climb, with the Lakers now holding a commanding 3-0 series advantage following Houston’s late-game breakdown.
