St. John’s will be without transfer forward Donnie Freeman for the 2026-27 season after he suffered a torn Achilles.
Freeman joined the Red Storm after transferring from Syracuse, but the injury will keep him off the court for the entire season. His absence removes a notable addition from St. John’s roster before he has the opportunity to make his debut with the program.
