Chris Ashby powered the Royals to a 98-93 win over Central Arkansas in the Atlantic Sun tournament, knocking down 10 3-pointers and finishing with 34 points.

Big shooting night seals the bid

Ashby’s long-range barrage set the tone in a high-scoring matchup, giving Queens the offensive lift it needed to secure the league’s automatic NCAA berth. The Royals ultimately did enough down the stretch to hold off Central Arkansas and close out the five-point victory.

The win marks a milestone for Queens, which reached the NCAA field at the first opportunity after becoming eligible.
