Candace Parker, Elena Delle Donne, Blake Griffin, A’mare Stoudemire and Doc Rivers are among the finalists for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2026, the Hall announced Wednesday.
The group features a mix of standout players and a longtime coach, with Parker and Delle Donne representing two of the most prominent names in women’s basketball and Griffin and Stoudemire among the defining NBA stars of their era. Rivers, a fixture on NBA sidelines for decades, is also included among the finalists.
Class of 2026 finalists announced
The Hall’s announcement places Parker, Delle Donne, Griffin, Stoudemire and Rivers in the running for induction as part of the 2026 class. The finalists list also includes the “Lob City” era, a widely recognized nickname tied to a high-flying style of play.
The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame recognizes contributions across the sport, spanning professional, collegiate and international basketball.
