Project B, the new global basketball league featuring women’s and men’s competition, has named former Atlanta Hawks general manager Landry Fields as its head of men’s basketball.
Fields moves into the role after serving in a senior front-office capacity with Atlanta, where he held the general manager position. His appointment gives Project B an executive with NBA management experience as the league continues building out its basketball operations structure.
The announcement marks another step in the development of Project B, which is positioning itself as a global platform for both women’s and men’s basketball. Fields will oversee the men’s basketball side of the organization in his new role.
