Ball addressed the incident afterward, saying he was relieved Adebayo “wasn’t more hurt” following the run-in. Ball also downplayed any lingering tension, describing it as a basketball play and saying there is no rift between them.

Asked about the moment, Ball framed it as part of the game and reiterated that his main concern was Adebayo’s well-being. “It’s all basketball,” Ball said, emphasizing that the contact did not create a personal issue between the two.
