Karl-Anthony Towns said he was “disappointed” after the Knicks stated they are tabling all extension talks until later in the season.
Towns said the team’s position was “news to me,” indicating he had not been aware of the decision before the statement.
The comments came in response to the Knicks’ decision to pause extension discussions for the time being.
