The Miami Heat are acquiring Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis from the Milwaukee Bucks in a blockbuster trade that reshapes both franchises.

Milwaukee will receive Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakucionis, three first-round picks, one pick swap and one second-round pick in the deal. The package includes the No. 13 pick in Tuesday's draft.

A franchise-altering move

Antetokounmpo, one of the NBA's most accomplished stars, heads to Miami in a move that immediately becomes one of the most significant transactions of the offseason. Portis, a key frontcourt contributor, is also included in the deal.

For the Bucks, the return brings a mix of established NBA talent, young players and draft capital. Herro has been a prominent scorer for Miami, while Jaquez and Ware add to Milwaukee's developing core. Jakucionis and the incoming picks further strengthen the Bucks' long-term asset base.

The trade also gives Miami another major star while sending out several rotation pieces and significant draft compensation. With Antetokounmpo and Portis joining the Heat, the deal marks a dramatic shift for two Eastern Conference teams.
