Joel Embiid will not play in Game 3 of the Philadelphia 76ers’ first-round playoff series against the Boston Celtics as he continues his recovery from an appendectomy.
Despite an increased workload as he works back, Embiid remains sidelined. Philadelphia’s coach said Embiid is “just not ready” to return for Game 3.
