Kansas will have freshman standout Darryn Peterson available for Saturday’s game at Iowa State, according to head coach Bill Self.

Self said Friday that Peterson is “good to go” for the matchup, clearing the way for the Jayhawks to have one of their key young contributors in the lineup for the road test.

Availability update

Peterson’s status had been in question, but Self’s update indicates there are no remaining concerns about his ability to play against the Cyclones.

Kansas visits Iowa State on Saturday as the Jayhawks continue their schedule away from home, with Peterson expected to be part of the rotation.
