Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark said the league would find a new event to replace conference championship games if they are eliminated as part of changes connected to an expanded College Football Playoff.
Yormark’s comments addressed the possibility that conference title games could be removed from the postseason structure. He said the Big 12 would seek another event to fill that space if the games are no longer played.
