Deandre Ayton’s night ended early Thursday after the center left his team’s loss to the Denver Nuggets with a knee injury.

Ayton’s departure added to a difficult outing as Denver handed his club a defeat, with the big man unable to finish the game after the knee issue surfaced.

Following the loss, LeBron James also emerged as a concern on the injury front. James said he was dealing with a sore elbow and was uncertain about his availability for Friday’s game against the Indiana Pacers.

The back-to-back set now carries added significance with both Ayton’s status and James’ availability in question heading into the matchup with Indiana.
