Abdul-Malik Olajuwon, a top-60 recruit and the son of NBA Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon, has committed to SMU as part of the program’s 2027 recruiting class.
The commitment gives SMU a notable addition with a recognizable basketball name attached. Olajuwon’s decision adds to the Mustangs’ future roster plans as the program continues building its pipeline of incoming talent.
