Tuesday’s three-game slate delivered two WNBA results and one emphatic Liga Uruguaya road win, headlined by Dallas Wings W surviving Seattle Storm W 112-110 in a 222-point shootout.

Indiana Fever W also protected home court with an 86-77 win over Phoenix Mercury W, while Peñarol went on the road and beat Aguada 107-92 in the night’s lone Liga Uruguaya matchup.

Dallas Edges Seattle in the Night’s Tightest Finish

The most dramatic result came in Seattle, where Dallas Wings W beat Seattle Storm W 112-110. The two-point margin stood out on a slate that otherwise featured more separation, and the combined 222 points made it the highest-scoring game of the day.

For Dallas, the win required enough late-game execution to survive a road environment and a Seattle side that kept pace possession after possession. In a game decided by one basket, the margin came down to finishing quality and the ability to withstand pressure in the final stretch.

Fever Control Phoenix at Home

Indiana Fever W earned an 86-77 home win over Phoenix Mercury W, closing out a nine-point result in WNBA play. The Fever created enough separation to avoid a one-possession finish, holding Phoenix under 80 points while reaching the mid-80s themselves.

That balance mattered. Indiana’s 86 points gave the Fever the second-highest winning total of the WNBA portion of the slate, and the defensive end provided the difference in a matchup that never reached the pace or volatility of the Dallas-Seattle shootout.

Peñarol Makes a Road Statement in Uruguay

Peñarol produced the most comfortable win of the day, defeating Aguada 107-92 on the road in Liga Uruguaya action. The 15-point margin was the widest of the three games, and Peñarol was the only team on the slate to win by double digits away from home.

The result was built on offensive volume. Peñarol’s 107 points trailed only Dallas’ 112 among Tuesday’s winners, and the road side created consistent separation in a game where Aguada still reached 92 points but could not keep pace.
