UConn has found its next general manager, hiring Charlie Stevens from the San Antonio Spurs’ front office.
Stevens has been serving as the Spurs’ director of grassroots scouting and will take over the role previously held by Tom Moore. The move gives UConn a new lead figure in a position increasingly important across college basketball, where roster management, recruiting operations and player personnel strategy have become central to program building.
Stevens arrives from an NBA organization known for its scouting infrastructure, bringing professional personnel experience to the Huskies’ basketball operation. His hiring fills the vacancy created by Moore’s departure from the general manager post.
