Vanderbilt point guard Tyler Tanner has withdrawn from the NBA draft and will return to school for his junior season, keeping one of the country’s top floor generals in the college game.
Tanner, an All-SEC selection, had entered the draft process while maintaining his college eligibility. His decision to return gives Vanderbilt a major piece back in its backcourt as the Commodores continue building around one of the league’s most impactful guards.
Known as one of the elite point guards in the country, Tanner’s return provides continuity for Vanderbilt heading into the upcoming season. His presence keeps the Commodores anchored at a premium position and preserves a central part of their roster from last season.
