The Oklahoma City Thunder took care of the marquee result on May 21, beating the San Antonio Spurs 122-113 on a four-game slate spanning three leagues.

It was a night defined by road teams elsewhere. The Dallas Wings W beat the Chicago Sky W 99-89, the Connecticut Sun W slipped past the Seattle Storm W 80-78, and Nacional delivered the largest margin of the schedule with a 109-89 win at Aguada in Liga Uruguaya play.

Thunder Finish the Job Against Spurs

Oklahoma City’s 122-113 win over San Antonio stood as the lone NBA result of the day and the highest-profile matchup on the board. The Thunder protected home court in a game that required sustained scoring separation rather than a runaway finish.

San Antonio reached 113 points, but Oklahoma City’s offensive output gave the Thunder enough margin to close. In a matchup built around pace and shot creation, the final score reflected a game in which the Thunder consistently found the extra gear needed to stay in front.

Wings Win in Chicago

Dallas produced one of the stronger road performances of the night, beating Chicago 99-89. The Wings hit the 99-point mark and created a double-digit cushion on the road, a result that stood out on a WNBA slate where the other game came down to one possession.

For Chicago, the 89-point total was not enough to keep pace. Dallas’ ability to push the game into a higher-scoring range ultimately shaped the result and gave the Wings a clean road win.

Sun Edge Storm in Tightest Finish

Connecticut’s 80-78 win over Seattle was the most tightly contested game of the night. The Sun won by two on the road, making it the only result on the schedule decided by a single possession.

In a lower-scoring contest than the Dallas-Chicago matchup, Connecticut’s margin came from execution in the narrowest moments. Seattle stayed within striking distance to the final scoreline, but the Sun did enough to leave with the win.

Nacional Delivers Biggest Margin

Nacional’s 109-89 victory over Aguada in Liga Uruguaya play produced the widest gap of the four-game slate. The 20-point road win was also the only result outside North American competition, giving the day a broader international finish.

Aguada reached 89 points, but Nacional’s 109-point performance created clear separation. It was the most decisive result of the schedule and the only game to finish with a margin of at least 20 points.
