Restricted free agent Spencer Jones has agreed to a two-year, $12 million offer sheet with the Oklahoma City Thunder, setting up a decision for the Denver Nuggets on whether to retain him.
Because Jones is a restricted free agent, the Nuggets have the option to match the terms of the offer sheet and keep him under contract. Denver has until Sunday night to make that decision.

The agreement gives Oklahoma City a chance to add Jones, but the final outcome remains in Denver’s hands. If the Nuggets match the offer, Jones will remain with the franchise under the same two-year, $12 million terms. If they decline, he will join the Thunder on that deal.
The move comes during the NBA free agency period, when restricted free agents can sign offer sheets with other teams while their current clubs retain matching rights. Jones’ situation will be resolved once Denver either matches the offer or allows the deadline to pass.
