The Dallas Mavericks are acquiring forward Santi Aldama from the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for AJ Johnson, a 2030 first-round pick and a pair of future second-round picks.

Aldama, a 7-footer, gives Dallas another frontcourt option as the Mavericks continue to shape their roster. The deal sends Johnson to Memphis along with three future draft assets, including the 2030 first-round selection.

For the Grizzlies, the move adds a young player in Johnson and increases their future draft capital. Memphis receives two second-round picks in addition to the first-rounder as part of the agreement.
